About The Law Report

The Law Report is a comprehensive and easy-to-use website dedicated to helping you filter information so you only read what's important and relevant to you. Founder Melissa Perkin has had a number of roles in the legal profession as a solicitor, barrister, Judges’ Clerk and a Regulatory Solicitor at the Law Society. As the creator and original author of the email Law Society Bulletin, Melissa adds her information gathering and writing skills and has brought together a team of lawyers and legal information professionals to provide the user with easy access to current and archived legal information.

Our editorial team filters through the cases, legislative changes, submissions, news and articles to give you summaries of what we believe to be most relevant and important. We have an archive of important decisions and articles from the beginning of 2010 and legislation from the beginning of 2009.
